“It’ll only get better from here.” - Foxanne
Foxanne is one of the characters encountered in Mary's dream, where she resides behind the third door of the Dream Hall. A beautiful lady fox who treats Mary like a little sister. She is the representation of Mary's tutor from the real world.
Appearance[]
Foxanne is a feminine, orange fox wearing a long dress with a headband and shoes to match, all in the same wine red color. Her eyes seem to be bright purplish-pinkish and have three pretty, long lashes. Foxanne is always shown holding a martini in her right hand.
If Mary loses the last round of Hide and Seek, Foxanne will reveal a mouth full of sharp teeth, grinning mockingly and her eyes will turn more narrow.
Personality & Plot[]
Foxanne displays a very playful and carefree personality. When talking to her for the first time, Foxanne will mention that they can now play games again, just like in the old days. She is slightly suprised to see how grown-up Mary has become, but is nonetheless very happy to see her, excited to be able to play with her again. Foxanne tells you that you won't leave on her watch and out of the three, she is definitely the most upset about Mary wanting to leave. When asking her for a seed, Foxanne appears distraught and is unwilling to give it up.
As you persist, she will challenge you to one last game of Hide and Seek, in which you only have 10 seconds to find her. She will be impressed if you find her in time, but if you don't, Foxanne will suddenly display a much more sinister personality, laughing at you with a disturbing smile, while mocking your loss. Different from all the characters, Foxanne tends to be the one to act the most agressive and creepy when she takes the petal from Mary. She says that Mary better pay up, but later claims that since she herself is so generous, she'll give the seed to her anyways. After that, Foxanne dissapears, but a shadow can occasionally be seen sitting on her chair.
Foxanne also mislead Mary upon their first meeting by saying that Boaris' door was the only one left, despite there being a hidden door next to hers. It's unknown whenever she did it on purpose or not and if she actually knew about the hidden room.
